My Personal Path of Healing

My life is now amazing ...

But it wasn’t always this way.

AMy Journey to Joy
Life is wonderful now, but it wasn’t always this way. I once struggled with depression, deep loss, and pain, questioning my identity. My story begins with plans to spend the holidays with my mom. Just before I left, I received a life-changing call: my sister needed help. She was battling end-stage cancer, so I flew to Louisiana to be by her side, offering support, love, and Healing Touch, an energy therapy she described as a rainbow of energy. We cherished our time together as she neared the end.

While caring for my sister, my mom was diagnosed with heart disease. Again, I used Healing Touch to comfort her. I also used aromatherapy, created sacred spaces, and held ceremonies to celebrate their lives. My mom and sister passed away within a week of each other, leaving me alone and devastated. I questioned my purpose and was consumed by grief and fear.

The Healing Process
To navigate the darkness, I relied on tools I now share with clients: walking the labyrinth, journaling, and seeking professional support. In my search for answers, I received a clear message: “Go do what you love—energy work!” Though both terrifying and exciting, it made sense. I was already skilled in labyrinth facilitation, aromatherapy, art, journaling, and counseling. I chose to deepen my passion for energy healing, pursuing Healing Touch certification and studying with renowned healers. Embracing my calling transformed my life.

The Joy of Living My Purpose
Today, I wake up excited about the possibilities each day brings and feel deeply grateful to follow my passion. My life isn't perfect, but I’m blessed to work with people striving to live their best lives. My awareness of the struggles others face drives my work. I want to help others enjoy their lives, no matter what. Together, we journey toward healing. Life is truly amazing—hang on!

My Career Path
I started as a surgical technologist, specializing in orthopedic and open-heart surgery. This work sparked my interest in the mind-body connection, leading me to earn a BA in Psychology and certification in addiction counseling. Over the years, I’ve explored healing modalities like drama therapy, music, art, aromatherapy, nature, and meditation to promote holistic healing.

At Stanford Hospital’s Cancer Supportive Care Program, I honed my skills in energy medicine. I’ve studied with various healers, including Roselyn Bruyere, Cyndi Dale, Donna Eden, and Sue Hoveland.

Continuing the Journey
I am a lifelong learner, committed to my growth and the well-being of those I serve. Discovering the traits of high sensitivity was life-changing and I continue to explore and expand my healing gifts, dedicated to personal and client growth.

As a life learner I stay current and connected to the latest information for my clients and for my own growth. Most recently I discovered the traits and gifts of High Sensitivity. I definitely have these traits and this has been life changing! I continue forward in learning, exploring, and expanding my gifts of healing and personal growth.
